    The world consumes about 15 million tonnes of natural rubber a year and produces about 14. Nothing you do here is a demonstration project looking for a use.

  • Science with a factory at the end of it

    Precision breeding, controlled environment cultivation and downstream processing sit in one building, so the work you do reaches a specification rather than a paper.

  • The Norwich research base

    We work at Norwich Research Park alongside the John Innes Centre and LettUs Grow, with the analytical and growing infrastructure that comes with the site.

    A team of twelve. You will own an area outright, and you will see the effect of your decisions on the next harvest, not in the next funding round.
